We are traveling from Las Vegas to Yosemite and are looking at staying either at Mammouth Mountain Rv Park, Monovista Rv Park Or June Lake Rv park. Has anyone got any feedback on any of these places? I couldnt find any Rv parks in Yosemite coming in from the east side. Also if anyone knows any place around las Vegas area that I could fish and ride atv's?

Also only fishing I know of is Lake Mead. Good luck and enjoy your travels.

The park was only about 20% or so full and they put us right next to a TT that looked like it had been there for a while. Seems to me that they would have assigned us to another spot so as to not intrude upon those already there. As in most rv parks, the utilities pod and dump inlet is right in front of the rv parked next to you. As we were getting ready to leave the next morning, I had to empty my tanks and our neighbor was sunning herself about 10' from the dump inlet. I apologized, but nothing I could do other than continue with my job. IMO, Mammoth is a much better place to camp than June, but to each his own. There is also a small rv park in Lee Vining about a mile past the Yosemite turn-off on the north side of town. We stayed there also and as it is an older and smaller park, it is adequate with about 10 pull-thrus with 50 amps in addition to about 20 other back-ins with 30amps (Mono Vista Rv Park). I highly recommend stopping at the gas station just as you turn off of Hwy 395 to go to Yosemite. In the gas station is "Whoa Nellie Deli" and it is very much worth stopping for to eat. They have some of the best fish tacos I have ever eaten..plus a whole bunch of other stuff too! You won't regret it. There are no rv parks on Hwy 120 going east out of Yosemite until you get to Lee Vining. There are, however, lots of campground (NF?)...no hookups, of course. Hope this helps Ron

If you are short-term, you will be on a big parking lot with landscaped islands. You will have electric, water, and cable (no sewer but good dump stations). There wifi is only okay in the front row, and even then, I had some trouble and had to work in the courtyard by the office in light snow flurries. The staff is a bit on the less than helpful side. The park is close to the city by about a block. It is certainly doable. A bit pricey though. They charged $3 extra per dog.
