Mighty Putty

    ok here goes who has used mighty putty to repair a leak in hard to reach places like behind the potty leaking right where the metal meets the blue hose at that funny looking crimp very hard to reach with out standing on your head....

    I believe that mighty putty is a two part epoxy type adhesive. Altho it may work to stop the leak it may also mean that you will have major damage to something if you ever have to remove the toilet. It may make it impossible to take that fitting apart in the future.

    Bite the bullet and get a professional to fix it right, if you cant. Something like that could come back and haunt you in the future.

    We had a friend that used the putty on his holding tank. Worked well but.........the toilet has water pressure. Don't think you will get it to work.
