Barbecue hookup

    What do I need to hook up my barbecue to the existing line on the back of my camper I have the hose but when I hook it up I cannot get the barbecue to light is there something I'm missing

    I suppose we start with we are sure that the propane tank has propane. Are you able to light anything inside the trailer that uses propane? When attaching your hose to the fitting,on the trailer do you hear anything like propane flowing in that hose? Is there a shut off along the propane line that might be closed?

    I was told that the propane supply from the trailer is regulated, so when you hook your bbq it is also regulated. There fore bbq will not light. There are things you can do to make the bbq work but you would have to consult your local propane dealer.
