Hi, we have a 45' Class A, towing a jeep. Next summer we'll be driving from Baltimore area (Ramblin' Pines RV Park) to New Haven, CT. I desperately want to avoid as much I-95 mess as possible, and certainly avoid NYC.
    Anyone have suggestions for routes?
    TIA

    Welcome to the forum JAJ

Going east I take the Delaware Memorial Bridge, then pick up NJ Turnpike to I287. Take I287 to the end (you will cross the Mario Cuomo Bridge) to I95 north on the NY/CT state line. If you can I would recommend weekend travel.

Stay away from any parkway as they have low bridge clearances.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for the welcome and for the info you shared. We're totally unfamiliar with the area. But it looks like we can make it work on a weekend. Tolls on Turnpike look to be about $75 with our EZ Pass.

I very much appreciate the advice.

    Happy Thanksgiving!
