Hi folks, since actual RV discussions have slowed down quite a bit ('tis the season), i thought i'd post our plans for next year in May, and see if you have any suggestions. We plan on taking two weeks and a day to drive down, spend a day in Orlando, a few days in Cape Coral with a family friend and drive back. on the way, we will stop in to see a few national parks/monuments, maybe see Graceland. I know this is an agressive plan if we want to keep the miles per day around 350, but there might be a day or two we will stretch it further. We may take the southern route on the way back.
Chris Looks like a very nice trip... But if it was me doing the driving I would avoid Atlanta at all cost. Even the beltways around Atlanta are a nightmare. Ron
thanks for the advice. we'll try to avoid the Atlanra area then. Do you have a suggestion on a good bypass route?
Whenever I travel close to Atlanta I use many secondary highways and roads to avoid Atlanta. Many of the roads I use are through farm country. It will add mileage to your trip but will reduce the traffic frustration.
On some trip planners, you have to add some way points to go to some locations. Otherwise, they will map a route that is the fastest available to your destination.
