Park ratings, recently we were very disappointed in our stay at a top rated park. RV RANCH in Grand Junction, Co. The park was pretty, but the attitude of the managment was the worst. The park was more expensive than any other in the area. It was nice but the park management had the most awful attitude. To go with the high prices we were constantly running low voltage, no cable as advertised, and although in the desert region, the pool was OUT OF ORDER, through the month of July (although when we called, we were told they had a pool, cable and telephone). Of course it was true they did have a pool, it was just out of service and there was no discount for that. Besides being the most unfriendliest of people, they were not interested in hearing complaints of any kind. The main response we got to complaints was, "It's not our problem, don't like it, leave without a refund". Someone should include attitude of park workers, and management in their ratings.

We also stayed at RV Ranch in Grand Junction in June and were told they had a pool. Like the previous poster stated, the pool was closed for repairs. It was extremely hot there and not having a pool made it very uncomfortable. The rates were high and they did not offer a discount because the pool was closed, which I think they should. The reason we picked that particular campground was because it had a pool. Management offered no apology for the pool being closed. Not the best way to manage a campground and encourage return campers.
