Hi folks, We'll be at Bryce Canyon in Utah, and then hope to drive Hwy 12 up to Torrey Utah, stopping along the way to see Kodachrome Basin , Capitol Reef NP and Goblin Valley State Park. We have a 33 ft. fifth wheel. Is that road too curvy or mountainous? Will we be okay driving that road? And if there are pull-offs along the way, are they big enough for a truck with attached RV to pull into? Once we know if this is a good route for us, we'll be working on campgrounds next. Thanks if you can help.
i don't see any reason why you could not drive your rig through the park, but if you continue to have concerns, i would call and talk to one of the rangers. Keep in mind, depending on when you are planning on visiting, there may be restrictions in place where you can park: https://www.nps.gov/brca/planyourvisit/oversized-vehicle-restrictions.htm have a good trip.
That's an interesting and very helpful map. But actually, we do not plan to drive our rig through Bryce Canyon. We want to drive up to Hwy 12 and take it up to Torrey. I did some more searching today and I think we can do it without a problem. There is one 2-mile area with a bunch of curves, but that's the only problematic area. Thanks for your response
