Why is the GPS routing me off of major roads?

    Hello,
I recently subscribed and wanted to mostly use the GPS. I entered my RV stats and tested out a couple of routes. I am not sure if it is working as intended but the routes are not at all efficient or even safe.
All of my route preferences are set to "NO" btw. My trailer is 11ft high and 27ft in length and the stats are entered into the app correctly.

I test routed to a single location that was on the same major road i was already on (no turns needed). The GPS had me making turns and taking smaller roads when my destination was literally on the same road as I was already on.

I tried support but the support submission page isnt working.

Anyone else have issues with the RVLife GPS routing funky? Any suggestions?

Without seeing your specific route and suggested route, i can't comment too much, but is there a toll road on your test route? Could the setting to avoid toll roads be affecting it?

I'm not familiar with the RVLife GPS specifically, but with other makes/models, setting them to the "shortest route" will sometimes have you following the cows to the barn. Setting them to use the "fastest route" will usually keep you on better state and federal roads that may not be the shortest, but will get you there faster.

Also check if "shortest" is selected. That, on our GPS, will often divert you off major highways and onto secondary roads.
