If you like to fish, ask Dan where the good spots are. He recommended a place for my husband to fish, and it was a great spot!
Nice little hike nearby to Sweet Creek Falls. For a nice outing, drive to Box Canyon overlook, Riverside Canyon overlook and Pee-wee Falls overlook.

Tip for Other Campers:
Expensive gas and groceries in Ione, so stock up before you come. Nearby Metaline Falls has a quaint little movie theater downtown. Boundary Dam campground is just an awesome destination!

Tip for Other Campers:
You can walk into the town of Ione, WA to their city park (on Main Street) for direct access to the river/lake. It also has a boat launch there. Great hiking and biking in area. Only about 30 miles from Canadian Border.
