As the saying goes "use to is dead". However maybe I'm missing something.

Didn't the old website allow you to set up your amenities before searching? Since I am "all electric" , I need 50 amp service as an example. Does this new format still have that or is it gone forever?

Click on the "Search" button with no entry in the text box to go to the advanced search page.

We, also, are all electric but that surely doesn't keep us from staying at plenty of CGs with only 30A service. Sure, we have to count the number of large devices we have running at any given moment, but the important things like residential refrigerators take very little power.

If you aren't familiar with the principles of electricity, watts = volts x amps. The wattage used by most devices is usually provided by the manufacturer or you can Google it. A 30A 120V hookup can provide 3,600 watts of power. An air conditioner typically uses ~1500-1700 watts but that still leaves plenty for us to run the lights, TV and fridge.

If you rule out 30A campsites entirely you will be missing out on such incredible places as the Canadian national parks which only have 30A service.

You're welcome, Dennis. The new layout takes some getting used, just like any new site we visit, and I hope you like the new features as you find your way around.
