You may be familiar with RV Trip Wizard, the trip planning app for RVers. If you use Trip Wizard or another planner and would be interested in being a volunteer beta tester we would like your help. Trip Wizard has been around for many years and is getting a major rewrite and new look. New features however, need real world testing by real world RVers and so we would like your input prior to release of the new version! You don't need to be a current account holder at RV Trip Wizard to participate in the beta test but you will be asked to submit comments and feedback based on your use experience. You will need an internet connection to participate as this is an interactive app rather than a software download. If you are a current user of RV Trip Wizard, the beta testing will not affect your current account or trips. How to participate: Click here to fill out a questionnaire: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1...PHm91IyK5HYvSaFBjICR5iAYQPLg/viewform?c=0&w=1 Once we have selected the beta team, we will contact you with further instructions. Here's a quick peek and the new release.
Oookay. I was asking because I was considering subscribing but wanted to ask what others thought first. When I did a search to see if anyone already asked, this thread came up.
Just curious, a couple of these sites have their own database of campground and RV park reviews. Is there any plan in the future to merge this info into this site, so there is one centralized location to find reviews (and other park info)? Thanks, Chris G.
RV Trip Wizard was developed by a long time RVer who recently retired. Social knowledge adopted the site and also oversees RVPR. Trip Wizard has just undergone a major update with a few more tweaks on the horizon. Currently Trip Wizard uses database of campgrounds and POIs that is unique. Plans in the coming months are to incorporate the RVPR park list into Trip Wizard and vise versa so that each is more complete. Trip Wizard already sends users to RVPR to read reviews. We have been working over the past few months to make sure that data is is clean (up to date and accurate) before undertaking this. RVPR will not change and will continue to be a great free resource. What will change is that Trip Wizards database will be more robust and we have considered adding Trip Wizards list of overnight stops to RVPR as a separate page (still mulling this over). Trip Wizard is a great planning tool for road trips, calculating mileage, alerting for low clearances and planing stops and the two sites are a great fit.
