This is my first time attaching pics to a thread so hope they come thru okay. Will know shortly as soon as soon as I hit the "create thread" button. They were taken at Winchester Bay RV Resort in Washington. The skies were smoke free the entire time we were there and we enjoyed some great seafood and imbibed in a few "beverages" with and between meals. This is our favorite place to spend time at but getting a space there is like trying to pull the eye teeth out of a tiger, you have to book up to a year ahead if you plan on staying there. Just wanted to share these with the forum so you can all see what you missed by not being there to shake hands and sip a cold or hot beverage with us............. Looks like we might have to add this to our list of destinations for a trip to the seaside next summer.
The area looks too nice to be in Washington. At what point did say you imbibed in these said beverages?
------------------------------------------------------------------- Well ForestWalker, if my memory serves me, which at times anymore it doesn't do that very well, I believe we started our first social beverage about 3 minutes after our arrival and by the time we were all hooked up and ready to settle down the first 1/2 gallon batch of margaritas was history. From that point on until the day we left everything is a tad foggy. Thankfully my camera has one of those motion sensor thingees on it that prevents the pictures we take from being blurry, etc. so at least the pics of Winchester Bay came out decent and clear enough to be seen. At least I think that was Winchester Bay where they were taken. Or was it somewhere else we stayed at last time we went to the ocean? Not sure about that now that you mention it. In fact after looking at them again I think that may not even be our coach. Whoops.... BankSbot...............(aka Terry)
Thanks Darrell for pointing out my error. I also know now why ForestWalker said it looked too nice to be Washington. Indeed WB is in Oregon just above Coos bay but we did have family visiting us from Washington and I guess that's where my mind was as I was typing. Sorry about that folks as we do spend time in Washington also but when we do we stay on their property and we can't list them as an RV park to do a review on. Does that sound like a good enough excuse for my brain being scrambled............ It's either that or I still haven't sobered up yet from all those beverages we chugged down under that beautiful "OREGON" sky. Was that really smoke I was seeing thru the windshield on the drive home or was it inside my old noggin.......... Moving right along, Terry...............(aka Terry)......I think:?

Love the pik Terry!!... Hmmm site 101 Winchester Bay RV Resort in Washington... you are giving lots of RVPR members on idears on where to book for next year. You may want to book for next year even earlier! LOL Mike
------------------------------------------------------------------- No worries Mike, we booked for next year before we left so we are all set. But the place does stay full most of the year. Took us almost three years to get a space the first time we stayed there and that was due to a last minute cancellation and my lucky phone call about 10 minutes after that cancellation had been made. I must however once again let everyone know that my original post saying that Winchester Bay RV Resort is located in Washington was in error. It is in Oregon, on the coast, and just a few miles south of Reedsport.
