Been really S----------L------------O------------W on the forum lately so thought I'd liven things up a tad by saying something. Exactly what that will be I'm not sure of right now but am working on it so stay tuned.......... In the meantime, one more time with gusto........ MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all......... BankShot..................(aka Terry)
We're still here, too, and hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Keep on travelin' and having fun in 2019.
Okay, after some deep thought I finally came up with ten things to say as followup to my original post above. They are as follows: 1. After years of driving "the Beast" I have found that either it's getting bigger or I'm getting smaller 2. I find that when switching the cruise control on I still am unable to take a short nap 3. The "crazies" still try to play chicken with us as they come down the freeway on ramps 4. Mileage has not improved with engine break-in, that's just a fallacy 5. The "Beast" still cannot beat a Ford Pinto at a stoplight race 6. No matter how hard I try I cannot go thru the IN-N-OUT burger drive thru 7. Air horns do work on drivers not paying attention 8. I seem to be older than most drivers of cars and pick up trucks 9. Sitting high up affords certain views of those drivers of cars and pickup trucks 10. Driving the "Grapevine" in So. Cal is still a white knuckle experience....both ways BankShot..............(aka Older & Somewhat Wiser Terry)
This year I asked for a new 32ft Newmar or Tiffin MH, not sure how he is going to fit it in his sleigh, hmm maybe he can drive it in with the reindeer on top? Merry Christmas Everyone! Mike
We are still kicking too. Really enjoying to sun a warmth here on South Padre Island. Merry Christmas to all from us and have a Happy New Year!!
---------------------------------------------------------------- In the words of old Tricky Dick "let me just say this about that" Mike. I hope you get that new Tiffin or Newmar coach. Just be ready to possibly get a nosebleed riding up so high... Ho-Ho-Ho, Terry.............(aka BankShot)
Hope everyone had a great Christmas, and has a good new year! From Colorado, we're still wondering when winter will arrive, and we will get some snow. Chris g.
Winter has arrived. It's 72 F here and we like it just fine. You keep your snow. Our white Christmas was a white sandy beach. Okay, it's not totally white but it's close enough. Wishing you (and everyone else) health, wealth and happiness for the new year. Darrell and Jerry
I'm kinda wondering the same. If it did he musta been a really good boy last year. That's why I didn't ask for one. I knew ol" Santa would have just laughed!
Been traveling the last few weeks, but, alas, I am grounded back to the DC area Lots of catching up to do. Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas, and blessings for the New Year.
With the money you will be saving not making those monthly payments think of all the steaks you can prepare on the weber.
Hey Mike - Couple of good things about the Weber versus the Tiffin or Newell.......... 1. Cost way less to purchase 2. Costs less to operate 3. Doesn't require a license to operate 4. Fewer and less costly repairs over its lifetime 5. Fuel for it is much cheaper 6. Doesn't require insurance to take it on the road 7. Much easier to store over the winter 8. Is easier to move from one place to another 9. Most likely will never get you a ticket when using it 10. Will fit into way smaller spaces at all times There, that should make you feel mo betta knowing the choice you made was a good one... Happy New Year, Terry............(aka BankShot)
Ron & Terry, After reading all your great suggestions I am now glad I got the Weber! This is my second Weber, we have been traveling with a Weber 220 for over 10 yrs but for the most part it has been much grill for just the 2 of us. Mike
You lot are going to really HATE my posts from the 100 degree brand new park for the Australia Day weekend 24th to 27th January......
