Sure do be slow around the forum lately. Everyone must be tucked in for winter? Everyone that is but our guy down under Jason Goodwin who is going into summer. He be missing so I am putting out the word to him to get back on board and send us some more pictures of his adventures. How about it Mr. Goodwin, give us a holler and let us know what you've been up to lately. And if you have hollered then perhaps it's me and I just haven't been paying attention like I should be....... WE BE WAITING JASON.......... BankShot............(aka Terry the Yank)
Has anyone here on the forum heard from our down under friend Jason? With the terrible fires going on in his country, I hope Jason and his family are all safe and sound.
I did some research on the fires burning in Australia and even tho the maps don't show as much as I would like to see I still was able to determine that the fires burning up in Queensland and the city of Brisbane where Jason lives are on the outskirts of the city itself and the current reports are that most of them are either extinguished or under control now. It doesn't appear that the main area of the city was touched by them but I would imagine the entire area was under heavy smoke for some time and probably still is from the smaller residual fires still burning around the city. No doubt Jason has had his hands full lately and may even be one of the thousands of residents who have pitched in to help fight them. Hopefully we will hear from him soon and that he will tell us that he and his family are fine and have come thru this natural disaster unscathed. Prayers are out to him and his family as well as all the other folks who have had to live thru and endure these terrible times down under........... Regards, BankShot..............(aka Terry)
