when looking for RV Parks, it depends on what we need that day. we usually just need electric, but sometimes we might need fill hookups every few days.
other than that, i really just look at the reviews on this site and try to find ones that have good or fairly good reviews.

Since we favor state/national parks, our only "must have" is power for our medical equipment. Preferences beyond that include on-site or nearby water and at least a dump station within a mile or two. A full hookup site is definitely a plus, but those tend to be hard to come by in the state/national park world.

I only use this sites rv park reviews, looking at what others aahve said, photos and locations to the routes we are traveling. I look for paved roads, and can live with gravel sites.

Clean parks that enforce their own policies/security.

We like to shop around as were not specific to state, goverment, corporate or private parks

I think that while traveling to a destination your needs are likely different than once you get to your designation. When traveling too usually it's overnight and as long as we have a safe place to park I am good with that. I've been to places with no power, sewer or water... but I was able to run my gen and we can handle the bathroom and water on our own. Most places do have at least power, water and sewer. But not all of them do. But once I get to my designation then I expect to have all the above.

But you have to get up close & carefully READ the sign. I took a pic of this one at a bar near Dale Hollow SP in KY. From a distance, it draws ya in......
