Hi All, I want to buy this one: rv.campingworld.com/rv/2362681?vurlk=1731181468169-P84EA95FM12W i negotiated price 95k just to sign for it. I will do the independent inspection, but can some experienced members say some comments regarding this first RV purchase? What do you think? All comments will be more than welcome
I will say it as I think others may feel the same, Camping World has a reputation of not being a good place to purchase a rv and expect service, good price and a real PDI on a rig. Just watching so many You Tube videos of folks explaining what they went through in either the purchase or any repairs the rv needed. They (Camping World) seem to always get the first time buyers as they are easily snookered. I wish you the very best but think we will end up hearing from you down the road as a unhappy new owner.. I
i will 2nd the previous comment. Camping World is a place to be very wary about purchasing from. Even if the sale is acceptable, any service will be less than stellar, and will take an extremely long time to complete, sometimes preventing you from taking trips. on several RV discussion forums, there are many many horror stories.
Hello, I saw feedbacks about the CW... Did not decide about buying from them yet... i will looks for other sources but.... Also could you comment about price and quality of this model? What should i be worry about... and also is there a place to read more about this model/unit/brand? I appreciate feedback on this one as well

Please don't take this the wrong way, but as a new first time buyer you are possibly in for a shock as to the amount of things that can and might go wrong with a new rig. Many of us have worked our way up the chain of rv's learing as we went as to what worked and what didn't as far as lay outs and floor plans. Out of all the rv's i've owned only one was brand new, all the rest were gently used purchased from other private owners. Not only did I save money, but got to learn first hand from the owner as to what has failed, what was fixed and how it was done. And I looked at many before deciding on buying, as your going to see many not so good and then the good one that just shines above all the others. You will know it when you see it. Watching the Blue Ox rv inspection you tube videos has sure opened many eyes seeing the poor quality many of the new manufacturers are putting out the door. Just want you to enjoy the experiance of being a RV'er and not be soured by a bad buying event. Wishing you the very best no matter what you decide.

Our 2009 Holiday Rambler is heads above the same newer model being offered today at a much higher price. Solid wood cabinetry has become pressboard veneer along with most everything else being of lesser quality. A few years ago we stopped by the dealer we purchased ours from, thinking about possibly trading up. After a walk-thru and some mostly negative discussion about the "great deal" we could get, etc. we told the guy that we wouldn't trade ours straight across for the new"piece of "cheap junk" being offered. And guess what, he confided to us that he had just given his 2 weeks notice to leave as he agreed with what we had just said about the current models being sold, and no longer wished to be having his customers so disappointed in the overall quality of their new RV, etc. after just a trip or two with many problems. Take your time with your first purchase and maybe even check out a few older units being offered either privately or at "trusted" dealerships, RVing is a wonderful way of travel and I wish you the very best in your adventures down the road that lie ahead....... So just learning what was said here and from many other sources it looks to me that i should extremally keep fingers crossed dont worry about most of the selling entities services and just start working by myslef (using good reliable service) on way to good well functioning rig and happy camping... once i purchase something eventually... How can i get some contact for ILLINOIS based reliable mechanics and shops which work with customers fast and are reliable?
One time when we were looking at 5th wheels, and owned a smaller trailer, we would walk the rv park and if we saw a 5th wheel that looked attractive on the out side, we would talk with that owner and ask, how do you like it, how was the place you bought it, did they treat you well, would you buy it again? Believe me, folks will tell you if the dealer was bad, or good. If they like or hate the rig, and if they would buy from that manufacturer again or not. Not living in or around Illinois can't help steer you in any direction, but it is a JOB trying to find honest well run operations anymore. Everyone has a hand out wanting your money, it is up to you to decide who gets that.
