A Note about Military Campgrounds

    We need to clear up the confusion about military campgrounds. Bases have gates that are guarded and you must show the proper ID to enter. You must have an ID showing that you are a civilian contractor on THAT base or, an Active Duty military person, a retiree (not just a veteran), or a 100% service connected disabled veteran with a special ID.

    Military campgrounds can be a bit tricky to navigate, so this helps folks know what to expect.
