Looking for suggestions on taking our 24' Class C in the Adirondack's for a few days after Labor Day. We love the more quiet areas with some walking trails.

Take a ride up to Tupper Lake and visit the Wild Center. They have some very nice hiking trails, and the indoor exhibits are fascinating. We like to stay at Little Wolf Beach & Campsite, owned by the town, but they close after Labor Day weekend. Just south of Tupper, is the Blue Jay Campsite, privately owned and open until the last weekend in September. Well worth the trip!

Dutch: Heard from Blue Jay yesterday and they are on a first-come first-serve basis after Labor Day. Hopefully we won't have a problem getting in....thank you again for the suggestion. It is on our agenda to stay there.

Ok, I think you'll be fine, especially if you go mid-week. The leaf-peepers might be out on the weekends if we have an early fall.
