    Alabama Gulf Area
Have never camped near them parts and would like too this winter.

Snow birds in our early 40's (no kids) looking for a site that will accommodate a 36' pusher and 26' enclosed car hauler, we don't want to pull the car back in the hauler after arrival.

Looking for restaurants and something like a Walmart close by, maybe some bar food and a pool table would be nice here and there also.

Wooded camping is a plus, bike trails, pool, hot tub, onsite store, pets.

Does this place exist??? If you have any Ideas I would like to hear about it.

Respect and Thank You in advance
    Wayne

We stayed at Lake Osprey RVResort. Beautiful place, quiet and RV sites are more than adequate. Several smaller towns nearby, but have Walmart and grocery store. About 15 miles from Gulf Coast, but a quick drive. Has a nice pool, all roads and sites are paved. We had a site overlooking the lake which was very nice and offered privacy. Laundry is free(yes free), just have to sign up for a time.

Sounds like you are looking for a rv campground like the Gulf State Park run by the state of Alabama. Nice and varied sites, fishing, plenty of bike and walk trails, Walmart 3 miles away, restaurants and shopping nearby. Camp store.A bit cold for swimming. Look this park up. You will not be disappointed!
