Was looking for Alexander Springs in Altoona FL and got this message:

    404 Not Found
    nginx/0.7.59

I've looked at it before so I know something was there. What happened?

Thanks, we just drove this one today so I wanted to see what people had said about it.

I live not too far from there and I might point out that there are gators in the springs and along the creek. It is easy to not be careful of them, but I talked to a couple who went right past a huge one in their canoe. Be very careful especially if you have kids.

We all need to remember we are in Mr. Gators pond plus all County's in FL have gators. Small kids and dogs are on this list so use care in all water ways. Attacks are rare but do happen.

We had a 13 year old boy killed by a large gator about 2 miles from our house (on Lake Eustis) about 5 years ago. It sure made an impression on me as I used to swim in the lake all the time. Unfortunately the gators are protected now. They are definately not endangered in our lake as we see them daily.
