Hi - Anyone have any suggestions on where to stay near Hershey Park that overlooks Amish farmland. Would love to find a site that abuts/overlooks farmland. Camping in a larger pop up. Thanks
Lancaster / New Holland KOA from what I have been told has the "best" views overlooking Amish Farmland. Just one word of warning, owners are over the top strict. Flory's Cottages & Camping has sites that abut farmland . Scenic area though sites are tight, especially with the Rv's over 30' Old Mill Stream Campground has views of farmland also, next to Dutch wonderland Amusement Park, Full service, very clean well run park. Some large sized sites. Set back somewhat from VERY busy Rtu 30 which is difficult to exit and enter. Beacon Hill Campground (Ages16+) is also another one I would recommend. Directly in Intercource PA and Amish shops. All are about 1 hr drive drive from Hershey Park, Ask specifically for sites that overlook farm land and the earlier you can book the better chance you will get a site with a view https://www.campgroundreviews.com/regions/pennsylvania/lancaster Mike
We camped there with some fiends in the fall. We had to make reservations as it fills up quickly. We couldn't get the site next our friends but was in the same row. We were close to the roller coaster which sets next to Dutch Wonderland (was only open at that time on Sundays). It got real loud but wasn't annoying.
love Old Mill Stream, Somehow we always end up spending more at the amish shops than we anticipated! Mike
