Does anyone know of campgrounds close to Wright-pat AFB Ohio? I am thinking of taking my son over to see the air museum. And I was wondering if anyone knows of a campground close by to Wright-Patterson AFB? Or a town close by within a reasonable drive.

The closest is Dayton Tall Timbers Resort KOA, in Brookville.

In about 30 minutes you can use the Campground search to search for campgrounds near Wright-pat's zip code, 45431.

Check out Ceasar's Creek State Park. This is a very nice state park and not much further drive that the KOA. Unfortunately, there is not a good rv park that is nearby.

There is an RV park on base - of course if you do not have military credentials that will not help you much.

There is an RV Park at Enon, OH which is fairly close called Enon Beach. We stayed there for a week a couple of years ago. It's a nice setting but there are a lot of old seasonal trailers around and the place really needs some TLC but everything worked and they had pull thrus.

The reviews on it are pretty much right on but it was convenient to Dayton.
