While in the Camping World store we filled out information to get a free two night three day stay at one of the thousand trails campgrounds. of course, you need to participate in a 90 minute tour of the facility which is fine by us. Other than the website, I was not able to find out furthur info on this campground, so we are not sure if it is worthwhile to go. They told me it is a private campground on a preserve in pennsylvania about 6 miles from hershey on rt 322.
Has anyone ever heard of, or is a member of this facility? We are from Nj and looking to become possibly a seasonal somewhere in Pa, either near Lancaster or the Del water gap. Looking for somewhere where the sites are not on top of your neighbor and a campground that doesnot have people living there full time.

We are full time RVers in a motorhome and were TT members/owners and just recently sold our membership. Out here in the PNW and west coast there are quite a few TT parks but they are all way out in the sticks.... now some like it but we found them too much in the "wilderness". You have restrictions on how many consecutive nights you can be in a preserve. There are annual dues required and you have to pay the dues every year for at least ten years whether you use their facility or not.
