    Our son has recently moved to Austin, TX. We plan to go and visit and stay for a couple of weeks so my husband can help with some house repairs. Does anyone have a recommendation??

    We like La Hacienda Resort just west of Austin. Small, well run, friendly, about 15 minutes from downtown.

    We like McKinney Falls State Park when we are in that area.
