We are looking to stay in Vt for 3 nights/2 days. We are looking for a quiet, full hookup campground within a short drive of restaurants, breweries, Vt attractions. We love quaint, walkable towns with unique shops, restaurants, etc. We were looking at Burlington, but are not set on the area. We will be going at the end of July. The areas of Stowe, Woodstock, Montpelier, and Burlington all looked nice. Definitely want to see things unique to VT.

Small well maintained family owned campground that overlooks lake Champlain. Has full hookups, rock pier where you can set up your chairs and watch the ships go by. We stayed primarily because of the outdoor activities in the area but we also did a few day trips into Burlington. There is more campgrounds closer to Burlington that get good reviews but not on the lake, just expand your search and check them out. https://www.campgroundreviews.com/regions/vermont/white-river-junction/quechee-pine-valley-koa-3012 is centrally located in VT, great reviews, full hookups, lots of touristy stuff in the general area. Big Balloon festival in June if I remember. W/E only with dump station. Manchester VT 30 minutes away for upscale shopping. Mike
We had looked at the KOA you mentioned, but it was quite a distance from Burlington and Stowe. Have you stayed there? Are there a lot of quaint towns to explore nearby? In Burlington, we have it narrowed down to Lone Pine, Shelburne, and North Beach State Park, but I'm seeing some bad reviews for all 3.
We were at the Quechee / Pine Valley KOA 7 yrs ago. The Quechee area is quaint/upscale also have quechee gorge, antique shops. Burlington has a lot of what your looking for also... very upscale. Mike
