Buffalo Point Arkanas

    We have reservations next month at Buffalo Point AR. We would like to hear from folks that have camped there. How is the camp ground , what to do and see near there? etc. Looking forward to this trip. We are staying a week :) ...Thank you Connie

    I found the Buffalo and Little Buffalo Rivers in Newton, Searcy and Marion counties in the NW section of Arkansas...
    Do you know the nearest town/city for Buffalo Point campground/RV park? Is it on hiway 14 by the Buffalo River State Park?

    We stayed there last year in our travel trailer. It is a nice park. It is off the beaten path as far as proximity to town. You drive down a long hill entering the campground. We enjoy floating down the Buffalo River in canoes or kayaks. The scenery is beautiful. I believe the nearest town is Yellville, AR. There are some neat places to eat there. The nearest wal mart is 10 miles from Yellville in Flippin, AR. They have diesel pumps there if needed. Hope you enjoy your trip!
