I am looking for any recommendations for campgrounds in central to southern NH that would be good for a family. We like a quiet campground with large sites and with some basic amenities -- playground, pool, etc. A lake would be a real plus. Ocean is OK but they are usually cramped, crowded and noisy. We don't want to camp with partiers, drunks, and all nighters!! Has anyone stayed at Barrington Shores in Barrington, NH. It looks somewhat promising in their website. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hi, never camped at Barrington Shores but know people who have and they say it is nice. Our favorite is Cols Springs in Weare, family friendly and lots of fun. Exeter Elms was OK when we went a few years back. A small quant family owner place we went a few years back was Blakes Brook up near Concord.
