We are planning a trip the first part of August to the Trinidad. Co area. I have only been able to find 1 review on the website, and it didn't sound like that was exactly what we wanted. Are there any campgrounds to choose from in that area? Thanks!!
There is an excellent KOA in South Pueblo, CO., which is not far from Trinidad. We found this place to be exceptionally clean with wide sides and excellent views.

The name is Pueblo KOA and it is reviewed on this website. It is about one hour's drive from Trinidad.

What will you be doing in the Trinidad area and how far are you willing to camp near the area? We just got back from 2 1/2 weeks of combination RV park and dry camping through the central part of Colorado and I can recommend some areas north of there west of Walsenburg and Cuchara/LaVeta area.
