We are looking for campgrounds directly on the ocean that are located from Virginia and south. We have researched Myrtle Beach campgrounds so we don't need that much feedback about that area. Thanks.
I just realized that the reviews listed waterfront sites. Sorry, but if anyone has one that they especially love, please let me know.
One of our favorite places is the Outer Banks in NC. We stay at Camp Hatteras in Buxton/Waves area, it is right on the beach, very secluded...that part of the beach is National seashore,so there aren't all the condos right up to the beach. There are about 3-4 camps right there, a KOA and a couple of smaller parks. Nice area to explore the sound side as well as the ocean. Light house near by, fishing, boating, good restaurants not too far. Check it out!
