We live in Zephyrhills, Fl. and are looking into perhaps join a camping club. We are retired and but we may like to go with a group in our area. Any suggestions?
I tried finding one in central NJ with little luck. I've considered starting one, but we just went 'seasonal' at a place in PA, so it's not as much of a need since we're not hitting up different places every other weekend. I'd say start with Google. I think Good Sam has listings of Good Sam chapters too.
What type of RV do you have? If you have a motor home, the FMCA has chapters everywhere http://www.fmca.com/ I belong, and they have lots of good discounts, especially on Michelin tires.

We own a 40ft. winnebago MH, and will check on FMCA, thank you.
You might also want to check out Escapees RV club. www.escapees.com. They have a campground in Bushnell and another one in Wauchula. They have all sorts of groups called BOFs (Bird of a Feather) for people who share similar interests. They even have a BuffBOF for those who enjoy..well...you can guess. (I don't belong to that one. No judgements though.)
