Looking for a Campground in Coeur d'Alene, ID... I would like a nice big rig friendly place.. I decided to try and stay there instead of Spokane WA.
John: The best campground in the Spokane/ Coeur d'Alene area is, by far, Blackwell Island RV Resort in Coeur d'Alene. We've stayed there many years. The best sites are in the 50s--we always try for 53, 54, or 55 because they have the best water views. The sites accomodate our 41 footer and a toad. Only downside is a sawmill is located on the other side of the river and it seems to bother some people although most folks pay no attention to it. Good luck.
Thanks Beastdriver. We got a reservation for 5 nights there. Do not know the site but will see what one it is.... We are making this trip on the spur of the moment since our family opbligations that were to keep us from traveling ended a lot sooner than we thought they would.
