Hi I have seen this topic come up several time in another forum and thought I'd pass it on here dorr@cookcountygov.com Here is the e-mail address for the Cook County Commissioner. It seems that legislation is being considered to ban RV parking on residential property county wide. This would include any kind of campers, boats, snowmobiles AND commercial vehicles. Please e-mail above and express your dissatisfaction. Pass this along to family and friends and ask them to contact their representatives and/or send an e-mail to above. If you happen to be a member of Good Sam, contact them and in particular, their parking rights group. This is the kind of issue that they work on.
Even if your not a Good Sam member go to the Web site and get in touch with them. They have been very successful in defeating these crazy proposed ordinances thru out the country.
Illinois is one jacked up state!!! Some of the worst weapons laws in the US, and this new law is pretty dumb!! Glad I dont live there!
