Wish there were a longer period of time allowed so we could go back and correct typos or even a complete sentence that didn't turn out right, etc. Several times even after proof reading a post before posting it I have discovered later on an error I would like to correct and find that it's gone past the allotted time period to do so. Any way that this can be changed to make our posts even mo betta down the RV road.........??? Just askin'........... Regards, BankShot.............(aka Terry) PS: And a happy Labor Day Holiday to everyone.........
Thought I'd give this one a gentle "bump" in that no response has been received and it may have gotten buried. How about it admins, any chance of making the allocated time period to correct mistakes in posts a tad longer for those of us who are inclined to make them more frequently than others............ BankShot..................(aka Terry)
I'm not the final authority in this, but I'll be honest and say that I think allowing 2 days to make changes to a post is too long. I could go for 24 hours.
---------------------------------------------------------------- 24 hours would work great. If we can't catch and correct a typo/error in that time period then shame on us IMHO. Hope this can be implemented and thanks Texasrvers for your input on this..... Regards, Terry...........(aka BankShot) PS: Hey Mike, nice try but two days seems a tad long even to me and I think I might be one of the biggest mistake makers on the forum when it comes to typos and saying something incorrectly.....
Please remember I can't actually facilitate this change. I can only pass along your suggestions to the higher admins and the website developers.
------------------------------------------------------------------ Not for long Mike! I be working my best to pass you up and be numero uno pretty quick......... But don't let me stop you, so keep on keeping on............. Regards, Terry............(aka BankShot)
Ugh! I just posted a review and sure enough, forgot to put in something. So yes, I would like to be able to edit a review and re-submit. I wouldn't even mind if that takes 24-48 hours, as usual.
I agree. Mistakes happen. I make more than my share. I just posted a Willow River State Park review and included the wrong campsite number. It should have been #356
If there is something you want to add that you feel is essential to your review you can always use the Contact Us link at the bottom of every page to send a message to the Help Desk. We don't permit online revisions to reviews since that could tend to undermine the purpose of reviewing them for objectionable content, etc. If people could revise a review after it was posted they could add in the sorts of comments we try to screen out!
