Is there a way to make corrections to the CG info?
I see where the check list says a CG is big rig access, then I go to their web site and it says max 38 feet. I know I have to do my own research but would help if there was a way to correct this when it is found.

You cannot change information for a campground unless you write a review for it. However, an admin can change it. Just list the name of the park here, or click on the "contact us" button at the bottom of each page and send the information that way.

    Hi,

It depends on your perspective, too. To someone with a pop up truck camper, 38 feet would definitely qualify as a "big rig".

Don is absolutely correct about perspective because there are more criteria than just site length that makes a park big rig friendly. There needs to be easy access to sites. Roads need to be wide and include good turning radius. Light poles, trees, rocks, and other landscaping must be placed so they do not impede turning. The roads and sites need to be free from overhanging tree branches. The sites must be wide enough to accommodate multiple slides and have at least 50amp or more power.

Our coach is a little short of 40 feet, and yet we consider it a big rig because we have multiple slides and need 50 amps. We would probably just fit into a 38 foot space if it had the other characteristics. If the sites at the park you are referring to only goes up to 38 feet it probably should not be listed as big rig friendly, However, I can see that if it can accommodate larger rigs in all other ways, it could be considered ok (just barely) for big rigs.

    Totally agree.
The term 'big rig' is in the eye of the beholder.
As far as I know, there is no universally accepted spec's as to what qualifies as a 'big rig'.
What is the cutoff length, 29 ft., 34 ft., 36 ft, etc., etc.,???

    Hi Tx,

It is a little known fact that Class C Rv's may require a greater turning radius than a Class A unit. So we need wide road ways and good turning room, too.

I guess the most nimble would be a Class B?

I know size is in the eye of the beholder but the review criteria is 40 feet, not ones own idea.
I tow a 45' 5er so this info is critical to me.

Now that I know how I can at least try to help keep the info correct as I really like and use this site a lot.

Two recent CG not 40' friendly.

    Another correction
CG 4895 and CG 426 have the same map location on Hwy 46 which is for CG 426.
CG 4895 is several miles away on Exline Rd. It is confusing as you don't provide address and CG 4895 doesn't really have a website with an address either.

In addition to my earlier post CG 4895 reviews must be getting mixed up with CG 426.
CG 4895 doesn't have two club houses, no room for "tons" of motorhomes and is nowhere near Hwy 46.

    ???

Thanks for pointing out the incorrect map. It has been corrected. I also agree that some of the reviews seem to be mixed up. The problem is some of the reviews give clues as to which park they are for, but many do not. We will look at them further and try to get them under the correct park. Thanks for your help.
