Hey CampingFamily...hope you check this post, as your question was posted a month ago! Crazyhorse is a nice park...the pool is big, and nice...they have a water slide, a duck pond, a store, a game room, and they do put on "Jack Tales" ...plays at night and they use any kid from the cg that shows up and wants to have fun! The bathhouses are decent...pretty clean...the sites are mostly level and most are shaded...not sure abt your specific site...we stayed there last year over Memorial w/e and have reservations for the same this year...last year they had a water pipe problem and had to close the main bath house and the pool heater wasn't working...all they did was lock the bathhouse doors and didnt tell anyone, or put signs up so we didn't know what was going on until I went up to the office to ask what was going on, and then was told of the problem, and that we would have to use the pool bathroom, which was fine, except smaller and not that many stalls...was crowded also, b/c it was the only bathhouse that could be used...the pool was freezing also!! Also, they have soared their rates this year...not sure about a tent site, but a full hookup is $48.00/ngt. way to high IMO... anyway, hope this helps some...it is a nice park...just hope their water problem is fixed this year...oh and they have a nice playground...one more thing...the first night we were there, the noise at night was horrible...so bad that our neighbors got up at 3:00 a.m. to scream at a bunch of kids on the playground that should of been sleeping or at least on their site at that time of night!! She beat me to it, as I was on my way out the door to do the same! After I complained to managemet, the next night you could hear a pin drop!!!

We stayed there in July 2001 and the whole family loved it. I'd say the whole park is pretty well shaded. We stayed in site 181 with our travel trailer and loved it, we had plenty shade with a stream in the back. I looked at the park map at your site number and I don't remember site specifically but I remember the area of the site, and I think it's a nice site. More private than the ones you see right as you enter. The only thing is, during the day you may find it a bit busier there with people fishing, etc....but I do find it one of the more pleasant areas of the park. It may be a little less shaded than the rest of the park, but it is an extremely shady park.

You should love it there, the water slides are great, pool is nice. To me the campground was an important part of our trip.

    Enjoy.
