This is to the management of this site.................. Just checked my personal profile info and was scrolling down thru the reviews I have done so far. Found that several of the reviews have different review dates than when they were actually done prior on the old site??? Not that this is any real problem but I was just wondering whey the dates may have been changed. I know they were correct on the old site as I previously checked them a few times before the new site went up. I can provide the actual dates for the ones that need correcting if this can be done...............? Regards, BankShot
Can you be more specific about what has happened? Is this simply a matter of a month being changed or are you talking about the year being wrong also? This is the first time this has been brought to our attention and it would be very unfortunate if the year of the review had been altered.
The year is okay, it's just that the month posted is no longer correct. For example, a couple of the parks we posted reviews on were in Feb. and now they state April. If there is a way I can go in and change the months to be correct I will do so if you let me know how to do it. If not I can email you the ones that are wrong. Hi again - I just noticed that several more of our reviews have posted month dates that are way off of what they actually were. Perhaps I can send you an email listing each park and the actual date of the review if that would be of help..............? BankShot
Under the category of "Site Admin, News.....", in a thread entitled "For Texasrvers", my last post dated 11/21/514 stated that I have the same problem. Many of my fall trip reviews as they are listed under my review list suddenly had their "Stay Dates" changed to the date I submitted the reviews. So I had several reviews were my "Stay date" was September or October and the "Stay Date" in my review listing now show October and November as the "Stay Dates". There was also a belated summer review (Townsend KOA, MT) that I submitted in November for a July stay. It initially posted as a July stay but changed after the new system came on line.
It appears that the system is using the "submitted date" field instead of the "stay date" field when posting reviews. This ought to be something that is readily resolved; it has been reported to the development team. Thanks to BankShot and Jerry S for reporting this.
