We are looking to plan our next summer vacation. We have gone to Ocean Lakes in SC, and Smokey Mountain Jellystone in Gatlinburg...We loved both places. There were a lot of things for everyone to do of all ages. We have a 42' fifth wheel and that makes it hard on most campsites. Can anyone give us suggestions that are not to far from our home state of VA and will give something to do for all ages?

Cherrystone Family Camping Resort, VA ,crabbing, charter fishing, loaded with amenities for everyone in the family

Luray KOA, VA 15 minute drive to Luray Caverns and to Skyline Drive and Shenandoah NP. I have heard that Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Luray is also a good campground, especially if you have a younger family.

Jellystone in Natural Bridge is one for camping. If you want to go somewhere that you can do other stuff, look at American Heritage in Williamsburg. You have Busch Gardens as well as WIlliamsburg and Jamestown too. Also there is Gettysburg PA if you are in Northern VA you will be close by there and there is interesting stuff there too.

How about Assateague? We stayed at Tom's Cove there a few years ago and had a wonderful and relaxing vacation.
