Hello all! I haven't checked out this site for awhile during the "winter hiatus". I just noticed, when clicked on Connecticut to see if there were any new reviews of campgrounds here, that a "Featured Campgrounds Near Connecticut" section is just below the state map. Cool! I thought, let's see what campgrounds are near Connecticut! Well... One is in Kentucky, one is in Georgia, and one is in Florida. I guess it depends on what your definition of "near" is? Seems like it might be a good feature, but really, maybe it should be campgrounds within 100 miles or something. Just something to think about!
The "Featured Campgrounds" are paid placements... It appears from a spot check around the states map that the parks paying for placement can select what states or regions listings they want to be included in. Pine Mountain Resort in GA for instance, is shown everywhere from Maine to Florida, and west at least to Illinois.
