Always very interested to see the setup of the parks over in the USA. Here is a new one that opens in November just north of Brisbane at a place called Bribie Island. Its adjacent to a brand new Pub up here that is extremely popular called the Sandstone Point Hotel Here is the website: https://sandstonepointhotel.com.au The Pub overlooks the amazing Pumisctone Passage and Bribie. Just to give you an idea of the scale of the pub and its location; The park is being built behind the carpark adjacent to the main building This is the Oyster Bar and the jetty you can tie up to with your boat or Tinny Plus the interior of the Pub is pretty amazing We do a lot of beach driving on the island for swimming and surf fishing. As well there are a huge number of WWII beach fortifications put in by the USA during the war. The park sits behind the hotel and is a game changer with regard to family parks. Website: https://sandstonepointholidayresort.com.au Here a few of the features In terms of set up it has everything from Van and RV sites to Cabins and what we call Glamping Tents interior shown above. The RV and Van site all sit on artificial grass so no Mowing. The big ticket is the massive wave pool that includes a water park and amazing lounges. It has tennis and basketball courts and a cinema as well. That's the massive wave pool on the left in front of the cabins. You can see how close the water is. Bit different from the Van and RV parks from 20 years ago. We are booked in from the 26th of January for a week so can't wait. Will be a great relax after the USA.
