I'm here! I went to the chapel first, the chapel had a real nice display. It's cloudy today, to I didn't get really good pictures. I'm not a crier, but I burst into tears. The locals in Somerset told me that it's better to see it now, then when the permanent is up. But according to the plans, the permanent one will allow you to go near the crash site.

My computer was making noises when I got to Somerset, so I took it to a computer shop to have it checked. I didn't get my computer back until today, and I'm headed to West Virginia. I didn't get to contact BBears while I stayed two days in Somerset, I'm sorry about that!

I'm so glad you took the time to visit the memorial. If you had not done so I think you would have regretted it later.

How quickly we forget. Does 9/11 ring a bell?

    Hi Bud,

I think that is one of the 9/11 flights.

It is the flight on 9/11 that the passengers tried to overtake the terrorists, but the plane crashed in Pennsylvania. Speculation was that it was headed for Washington DC to hit the Capitol or the White House. Remember one of the passengers said "Let's roll!" when they made their attack on the terrorists. There is a temporary memorial at the crash site, but a permanent one is planned.

Sorry, I was so excited, I forgot to say Flight 93 MEMORIAL. I think the flight number has been retired, too.

Now I'm in West VA for three days, only place I could get reservations for July 4th. I got one of the last four spots available.

JJ, nice to hear you made it to the Memorial. Geesh, it's been awhile since I've checked in here and am glad I did to hear your news.

Where did you stay in Somerset?

Unfortunately, we couldn't have met up any how, I was out of town for the week leading up to and including the 4th weekend, then vacation to the beach.

Hope your having fun on the east coast!!!

BBear, I stayed at the RV park that is closest to the Memorial.

I'm having fun in Kentucky! Will be here until Sept 8.
