We will be in the Forsyth area in August and had heard somewhere that there is a city park that has space for overnight parking.

Can anyone verify this or suggest somewhere decent to stay. The two CGs listed here (Reviews) look a bit downtrodden.

    Welcome to the forum f94!
I pulled out my maps to locate Forsyth, but have not traveled (or stayed) in that neck of the woods.
Intersection of I-94 and Hiway 12, in eastern Montana.
We've always caught I-90 out of Billings, heading south, ususally staying in Buffalo, Wyoming.
Am sure someone has insights here, tho.

Have no idea why this double posted, originally. Bad weather coming in perhaps.
    Anyway...

I checked the website for Forsyth, MT and it does not show any city park camping facilities. One of the parks (Rosebud East) listed and reviewed here on this site may be the park you heard about. It appears to be a public (State Recreation Area) park on the eastside of town. This is the best info I could come up with on Forsyth. You might want to check the parks listed uner Miles City, MT 40 miles to the east.
