Fort Lauderdale

    :) We will be travelling to Key West in February and will need an overnight stop in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Take a look at John Prince Park & Campground at Lake Worth, FL. This park is close to exit 63 on I-95 and a little north of Fort Lauderdale. Very large city park with 277 sites. I think you may find it hard to find anyplace around Fort Lauderdale. Check this board for more information.

    I checked our "TL" book and find sites below but we have not been to any on list and winter months may be a problem to find one that is not full.

    I added the phone numbers to save you time looking up information. This way you can call and see if anyone has space.

    I found a site at Paradise Island. Next time we go to Florida in the winter months, I will know to book early.

    Yes, FL in the winter months can be a problem. Happy you could find a park on way down to Keys.
