I have stayed at Twin Creek twice, once in a travel trailer, once in a Class A. The park is immaculate, very scenic. Spaces are a little close together. The people that run it live in the park, they are snooty and don't mind putting you in your place, you always feel like you have to be on your best behavior around them. They seem to have a hang up over older RV's too. Would I stay there again?....probably, if I didn't have to fight Pigeon Forge traffic to get to Gatlinburg.

i just noticed the date on this post, don't know if info. is still needed or not...we live abt. 40 min. from the pigeon Forge/ gatlinburg area...have not stayed at Twin Creek...but have stayed and will be there again at Crazyhorse...they are a nice park, but have raised prices this year-full hook up is $48.00/night...to high IMO...they aren't that great! Anyway...they have a nice pool, a water slide, duck pond, they have plays at night and use the kids at the cg to "perform"...last year over Memorial w/e they had a water problem and had no hot water for the main bathhouses and the pool wasn't heated...hopefully it will be fixed this year...other than the fact that they are about 10-15 miles from anything, they are a nice park!

We just came back from Twin Creek and really enjoyed it. The restrooms were spotless and the sites were nice-although a little close together. Yes, they are a little pricey, but I would rather pay the extra for clean restrooms and clean sites. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. We stayed there in a 30ft MH.

We have reservations for October 9, 2004. Will we have a lot of traffic to contend with getting to Twin Creek? Thanks...

We visited Twin Creek in 1999....real nice place. Made the mistake of approaching Gatlinburg from the north thru Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Big time traffic jam!! Way better to approach Gatlinburg (a great town) from the east via US 321 from Exit 440 of I-40. Twin Creek will be on your left approx 2 - 3 miles from town.

We were in Smokey Bear Campground this week and can say that if you compare this CG to Crazy HOrse or Twin creek you will find that this CG wins hands down. It is under new management and is about half the price and it is very nice. The sites are a bit close in athe pull throughs but the back in are bigger. I would highly recommend this. I will put a review online in a couple of days when I get home and finish the trip

Thanks for the advice Dave. I'll be sure to approach Twin Creek your way... We picked Twin Creek, because I've heard it was nice, and for the time we will be there (along w/ another couple) they were the only ones who had two sites available. So rather than taking a chance on not getting a site, we booked it. We really didn't want to be in Gatlinburg... but with the trolly service, it should work out fine. Again, Thanks for the advice!
