I echo your wishes for everyone to have a safe and happy holiday! We're sitting it out at our favorite boondocking spot in the Adirondacks, but Tuesday we'll head out again on a month long swing down to NC and TN.
Today were heading up to the cape, weather is going to be iffy, either way looking forward to just getting out. have a great holiday everyone! Mike
Cheers everyone! Can't wait to see future posts on where you all stayed. (Especially that little lake in Oregon ) We are hunkered down (avoiding traffic) in the back boonies/hills of southern California. Will head out after the holiday has died down.
The "little lake in Oregon" is called Emigrant Lake. It's located just north of the border and about 5 miles south of Ashland. In fact you have to take the Ashland exit and then double back a few miles to get to the lake which is inland a ways and east off of I-5. Have read and heard good things about this place. The campground/RV park is called "The Point" and is located on the northeast end of the lake. It is a triangular piece of land jutting out into the lake that somebody decided would make an nice spot for RVs to park. Will do a review on it when we get back for sure. After a four month hiatus from traveling due to the significant other's knee replacement surgery we are both chomping at the old bit to get out on the road again. This time we are bringing the 1.75 ml bottles of wine and a bunch of oversized flex straws.................. Regards, BankShot.............(aka Terry)
