High gas prices are the pits. :angry: If you have mifi and can look on-line while traveling, or are parked near a wifi area, these sites will help in keep the pump from sucking your wallet dry. They allow you to look on-line for the cheapest price on fuel in the area. It helps if yuo know the zip code. http://gasbuddy.com/ with the zip code on this one - you will see all station's prices in the immediate area on a map. http://gasprices.mapquest.com/?area=national You can select any type of fuel on this one...including propane. These sites rely on the public to update their info, and by registering & doing so I understand you can win prizes in the way of free fuel. If nothing else, it's a fun way to feel like you are getting back at those price gougers

I use an iPhone and use the FuelFinder app. It is amazing how often driving 1 mile off the freeway can save you .10 per gallon! FuelFinder, by the way, shows you how long it has been since the price has been posted. This greatly increases your confidence in actually getting the price posted.
I use http://www.gaspricewatch.com/new/default_V3.asp for checking prices. You can even route your entire trip and find the best prices along the way.
The Flying-J also has all fuel prices on line for all stations and states. We use the truck pits and high speed pumps, takes to long in the RV pits at 3.5 gals per minute.
I used www. findfuelstops.com coming from Texas to Oregon and found it to be extremely helpful as it also had prices, maps, satellite pictures of the service station, and comments. It's by far the best I've ever used. I've used GasBuddy and it is also helpful.
