 So, is it pull-thru or pull-through? I have always thought it was pull-thru and the rv websites also spell it that way. On the campground listings on this site, there is a place where "pull-thru" can be checked off. That's how it's spelled. That's the way I spell it in my reviews. I just noticed today after my most recent review that my "pull-thru" was changed to "pull-through" in my review. I looked at my old reviews and it was also changed in most of them. Some were left as "pull-thru." So, which is it?
Through and thru are like night and nite. The first spelling is the formal, more widely accepted spelling, but in this age of texting many people use the shortest form possible. As for what is correct for this website, it appears some admins change the spelling to through and some leave it as thru.
