The official re-opening of Johnson Shut-ins State Park in Missouri is scheduled for May 22, 2010. For those who don’t know, the state park was heavily damaged four and a half years ago when the Taum Sauk reservoir dam collapsed. I’m still amazed that no one was killed when the dam collapsed. The campground is opening to the public today (Apr 30th). The new campground will included 20 full hookup sites and I believe they will have 50 amp service. The park will also have 6 camper cabins. I can’t wait to see how the Black River and the rest of the park looks.
