I have noticed that down at the bottom of the page where it shows how many overall viewers are on the site at one time, etc., it shows some "robots" on board. I know what a member and a visitor are but what the heck is a robot, other than of course the obvious answer.......? Just curious............Bankshot
Typically, in 'net' terms, "robots" or just "bots" are automated programs that roam the net indexing pages on websites for various search engines, etc. Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, and a host of others are constantly updating the links they store to expedite searches. Sites such as this one, that are constantly changing as new material is added, are frequent stopping off points for the little guys.
