I'm from North Florida and brand new to this.
I've bought myself a gently used 21 foot travel trailer to do some sight seeing, as finances permit.

Glad you found RV Park Reviews. You'll probably find the campground reviews as essential to trip planning as I have. You've got some very nice state park campgrounds in Florida, especially along the panhandle and the interior of the peninsular. Try 'em all out (FL residents 1/2 price) and let us know what you think!

We live in a rural area NW of Jacksonville. My "shakedown cruise" will be over to Fort Clinch State Park in Fernandina Beach. That way I'm still close to home, just in case.
My dream is to visit the land of my ancestors - Maine.

Welcome to the site 5thMech. It's where the caissons (RVs) go rolling along. Sorry Jack B, I had to get that Army plug in. :)

    No shakedown cruise yet.
Had to get an after market electric brake controller installed.
Still need to get some side mirror extensions.
And, most of all, Big Boss Man at headquarters asked me to stay on thru the 1st quarter, so not much free time yet.
    That's OK.
As long as I'm completely comfortable with it by September. That will be a trip to Fort Benning for the 96th annual reunion of the Society of the 5th Infantry Division. No more spending $120/night for the hotel!
