Hi, I'm new to this site, but not camping. We are planning a trip to Louisville, KY, Nashville and Gatlinburg, TN. I'm thinking of making reservations at the KOA in Shepherdsville, KY for our stay in Louisville - Holiday Travel Park in Nashville - and Twin Creek in Gatlinburg. I have stayed at Twin Creek about ten years ago and found it to be very nice. Does anyone have any recent experiences at any of these places? Thanks!
We just came back from a week long trip in Tennessee. We stayed at Twin Creek in Gatlinburg and it was a very clean campground. When we were in Nashville, we stayed at Seven Points Recreation Area. It was very nice, but no sewer and the bathrooms were pretty rough (I ended up using shower in MH). The Holiday Trav-L Park in Nashville has changed to a Yogi Bear Park. It looked okay but was right along the highway. We prefer more rustic. Have fun!
